QC Series Vegetable Cutting Machine Application Scenarios

Why This Vegetable Cutting Machine?
Stop Paying for Two Machines when One Does it All.
In a busy kitchen, floor space is expensive. The QC Services Vegetable Cutting Machine gives you the power of a dedicated belt-cutter and a high-speed rotary slicer in a single footprint. With its Digital Inverter Technology, you aren’t just chopping vegetables; you are controlling your food cost. Uniform cuts mean uniform cooking times and consistent presentation. Reduce your labor costs by 70%—one operator with this machine can do the work of 10 chefs with knives.
The “Two-in-One” Vegetable Cutting Machine
This vegetable cutting machine is unique because it combines two distinct cutting technologies into a single machine.
QC Series Multi-Function Vegetable Cutting Machine
SIDE A: The Root Vegetable Cutting Station (Right Side)
- Mechanism: Rotary Disc Cutter.
- How it Works: Vegetables are fed into the aluminum hopper. Inside, a spinning drive plate rotates the vegetable against a stationary blade or through a shredding comb.
- Target Ingredients: Potatoes, Carrots, Cucumbers, Radishes (Daikon), Onions, Ginger, Taro, Lotus Root.
- Cutting Styles:
Slices: Adjustable thickness (e.g., 2mm – 10mm).
Julienne (Shreds): 3mm, 4mm square strips (ideal for salad or stir-fry).
Dicing: Can produce 20mm cubes for soups and stews. Customizable blade attachment
QC Series Multi-Function Vegetable Cutting Machine
SIDE B: The Leafy Vegetable Chopping Station (Left Side)
- Mechanism: Variable Speed Conveyor + Vertical Knife.
- How it Works: The vegetable is placed on the food-grade blue PU conveyor belt. It passes under a pressure roller (to hold the shape) and is chopped by a high-speed vertical “Ox-Horn” blade.
- Target Ingredients: Cabbage, Spinach, Leeks, Scallions, Celery, Long Beans, Kelp, Chili Peppers.
- The “Smart” Feature: The length of the cut is determined by the speed of the belt.
Slow Belt + Fast Blade = Very fine mince (dumpling filling).
Fast Belt + Slow Blade = Long sections (3-4cm segments for stir-fry). - Adjustable Range: 1mm to 60mm cut length.
QC Series Multi-Function Vegetable Cutting Machine Features

- Independent Operation: You can run the Root side and the Leafy side at the same time, or just one at a time.
- Precision: Unlike older models with gears, this uses Inverters. You adjust the speed electronically, ensuring exact cut specifications and protecting the motor from overload.
- Standard Blade Kit: Includes Slicing Disc (3mm), Shredding Disc (3mm), Dicing Disc (20mm), and Straight Leafy Blade.
- Body Material: Full SUS304 Stainless Steel. Rust-resistant and easy to hose down.
- Conveyor Belt: The blue belt visible in the image is made of non-toxic, food-grade Polyurethane (PU). It is detachable for deep cleaning.
- Discharge Zone: The angled chutes prevent product clogging and allow for easy placement of receiving crates (Standard GN Pans or large totes).
- Mobility & Stability: The unit is mounted on 4 Heavy-Duty Castor Wheels. Equipped with locking brakes to ensure the machine doesn’t “walk” or vibrate out of position during heavy operation.

The QC Series Vegetable Cutting Machine Combines in Vegetable Processing Lines
Small Vegetable Cutting Washing Line
Designed for the high-volume demands of central kitchens, food processing plants, and catering supply chains, this vegetable cutting machine is the “heart” of any vegetable preparation line. It combines two distinct cutting technologies—Conveyor Belt Chopping (for leafy greens) and Rotary Slicing (for root vegetables)—into a single, high-output chassis. Equipped with Dual Frequency Inverters, it offers digital precision over cut size and speed, allowing seamless integration into automated vegetable washing and packaging lines.

Upstream (Before the Machine)
- Bubble Washing Tank: Vegetables are washed and sanitized.
- Elevator Conveyor: A flighted conveyor lifts the washed vegetables and drops them into the hopper of this cutting machine. The conveyor is designed to be completely matched.
- Peeling Machine: For root vegetables, a brush peeler feeds directly into the Rotary Side of this cutter.
Downstream (After the Machine)
- Discharge Conveyor: The cut product falls onto a lower belt to be transported away.
- Vortex Washer/Rinsing: Cut vegetables (like lettuce) are rinsed to remove released starch or enzymes.
- Dewatering/Spinning: Removal of excess surface water.
- MAP Packaging: Modified Atmosphere Packaging for shelf-life extension.
Case Studies: Real World Success

Case Study 1: The School Lunch Central Kitchen Solution
- The Challenge: Serving 15,000 meals daily to local schools was struggling with labor costs. They needed two separate machines—one for slicing carrots and another for chopping lettuce—which crowded their prep area.
- The Solution: They installed the QC-801 Combined Vegetable Cutter.
Root Side: Set to slice carrots and potatoes into uniform 1cm cubes for stews.
Leafy Side: Set to shred lettuce and cabbage into fine 3mm strips for taco boats and salads. - The Result:
Labor Savings: The 4:00 AM prep team was reduced from 8 people to 2 people.
Space: They reclaimed 1.5 meters of floor space by removing the two older, single-purpose machines.
ROI: The machine paid for itself in saved labor wages within 3 months.
Case Study 2: Fresh Vegetable Supermarket Supplier
- The Challenge: They needed to produce “Ready-to-Cook” Stir-Fry kits containing a mix of Bok Choy, Sliced Carrots, Onion Strips, and Celery. Previously, this required moving crates between different workstations, increasing the risk of cross-contamination and slowing down the line.
- The Solution: The Dual-Head Vegetable Cutting Machine became their “All-in-One” station.
Batch 1: Operator feeds Carrots and Onions into the Right (Rotary) Side for slicing.
Batch 2: Without moving the bins, the operator switches to the Left (Conveyor) Side to chop the Bok Choy and Celery into 4cm lengths. - The Result:
Flow: A streamlined “One-Touch” process where vegetables go from washing -> Cutting (Single Machine) -> Packaging.
Versatility: When supermarkets requested a new “Julienne Mix,” they simply swapped the blade disc on the right side, taking only 2 minutes to change the production line.

Customer Testimonials
“Paid for itself in 3 months.”
We used to have four guys hand-feeding carrots into small table-top slicers. It was the slowest part of our day. We bought a QP-2000 cutting machine, and now one guy does the work of all four in a fraction of the time. The labor savings alone paid for the machine in under a quarter. It’s a no-brainer for any bulk facility.
I’ve been in food processing for 20 years. Usually, these vegetable machines vibrate themselves to death, or the welds crack. This thing is solid. The stainless steel frame is thick, the motor is oversized, and the bearings are sealed tight. We run it 16 hours a day on potatoes, and it hasn’t skipped a beat.
“Perfect French Fries every time.”
We supply fries to high-end burger chains, so ‘short’ or ‘broken’ fries are rejected. This machine cuts clean, long strips. Since switching, our yield of ‘Grade A’ long fries has gone up significantly. It handles the jumbo potatoes easily without jamming.
